How BarWaiter works
It’s great for venues, staff
and customers too
Difficult times don’t have to be challenging
Close your eyes and think back to when pubs were normal. It was great, but we took it all for granted.
There’s no going back for the foreseeable future. We all know what we need to do, so there’s no point in going over any of that. So let’s make this as easy and as painless as possible.
Now, imagine this simple process that fits neatly into nearly all pubs, cafes, and restaurants. It goes like this:
- The customer enters the pub and is seated at a table. They register their name and email address through BarWaiter. If they do not have a phone or cannot use one, then their bartender can create one on their behalf.
- They browse or search and select their choice of food and drink items available. They add their table number, and optionally add notes for service requirements. A digital receipt is presented with an order number.
- The bar receives the order immediately. They prepare the order and ring through the till or EPOS, just as if a verbal order had been taken.
- The drinks are delivered and contactless payment is taken via the card terminal.
That’s it. Minimal contact. Simply order from your table and the food and drink arrives.
With no one crowding the bar, staff are able to work more efficiently processing each order in turn.
Every order is accountable in a way it has never been before. Wastage and errors should be reduced, significantly.
That’s how BarWaiter works
What happens if there is a reported case of Coronavirus on your premises?
Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. Every registration and transaction is logged. This means we can see exactly who was on your premises on any given day. From that, we will have all of the email addresses so that you can write to them in accordance with government guidance. We can even export that data to give to the authorities if required.
